ID_Clan | Discussing the Future
As many of you may or may not be aware, this past week has been pretty “trying” for the clan. A formidable friend and long time member has parted ways with the clan. At this time, I don’t have specifics and I’m seeking to talk directly with the member, however it seems tensions have been on the rise for quite some time now. Since ID_ was founded in 2002, we have put friendship before any and everything.
With this said, after discussing everything with Yutz today, I’ve made a decision to close down the forums. The forums are the clan resource for communication, events and fun. I’ve been informed though, that during my absence (and I apologize for that, but literally I’ve only been in my home for 10 days over the past 2 months due to business projects) the very tool that we’ve grown to accustomed too has led to disruption and conflict within the clan.
For over a year and a half now, the clan has not seen much inner-turmoil or conflict amongst the members. To me that is awesome. It has allowed for us to grow and get to know many new friends/members. To me that is what the clan is all about. Since the turmoil in the forums has let to complications, I’ve decided to assist everyone on refocusing on what ID_ is really all about. Loyalty, trust, friendship and fun. Whether its on the boards, in game or in real life, our members have a bond. A bond that I hope people cherish and for those of you that aren’t familiar yet, I hope that the essence of what ID_ stands for will continue.
If you are available, I invite any and all individuals that are available, to join me in discussing the clan in an open forum starting tomorrow (Monday July 14, 2008) @ 9pm EST on Skype (click the link to get a free copy). For those that cannot use a headset, but do have speakers, comments/questions will be accepted in written format. I’m not going to place a time limit on this discussion. I would like to get to the bottom of any problems or concerns that any and all members (current and past) would like to discuss. If you would like to be apart of this conversation add the username: ID_CLAN to your Skype contacts. Whomever adds this name to their contacts will be invited to conversation.

I will make the entire conference available via MP3 download after the conference ends. I’d recommend that people who have questions post questions IF they cannot make the Skype conference. Questions can be posted here ONLY by those members not in attendance. Members in attendance can ask questions at the time of the conference.

well this will be a constructive discussion so I hope that you choose to participate. Afterall that is the reason why I’m hosting this. To open up active discussion about the clan therefore preventing fallout and improving our communication.

Trust me, i don’t expect to be begged to any degree.
I just don’t think i’d be very help/productive..and i don’t really know where i stand right now, guess i just need to continue thinking things over. Chances are i’m not gunna make too many decisions without being there tomorrow or atleast hearing what was said.

Well Dan, Id say that this is the opportunity to ask questions, talk issues, and present solutions. We’ve lost one friend to a decision that I think could have been avoided with some communication and I’m trying to prevent losing others.
Hopefully people see that we are trying to do what is right by allowing this conversation to exist. Silence is what has forced a member to leave, so I’m bringing back the “anti-silence” albeit too late but still somewhat timely.

you can use a usb headset if you can plug it into your computer. If your computer supports blue-tooth, you can pair your warhawk headset.

No blue-tooth on computer, so I will use USB. I have a mic for my computer somewhere, I just cant find it. I will look again tonight.

I will try and download it for my Mac… I am interested in the current state. I enjoy being part of this clan and though I do not particpate as much as I should, I am on the forums at least twice a week.
