Well ID_, the time has come to start scheduling this years ID_ Fest. Until now we’ve been dealing with loose scheduling, but know we’ve narrowed it down to two weekends. I’d like to get members who are thinking about coming to vote on two weekends to help us determine when the 6th Annual ID_ Fest 2008 will be occuring. To vote please click here and let your voice be known. Members in attendance this year should expect more of the same… Food, good convo, some competitive gaming (electronic & real world), paintball, and hangovers… For members that may not be able to make it, BUT will have an interest in seeing whats going on at the Fest, I will be trying to set up streaming web cam with designated “sessions” for you to interact with members in attendance. Decisions, decisions…

Even though decisions need to be made, there is still one thing that doesn’t even need to be considered…

ID_ is searching for that next great clan game. Is RB6V2 the game we’ve been looking for?

Who plans on getting this game? What do you think about it as a whole if you already own it? Are we going 360 & PS3? Who is going to help lead ID_ into this uncharted territory. These questions and many more should be discussed in our boards HERE.

Obviously ID_ had a good time with the first game and actually we’ve gained some new members due to that venture. I’d imagine that we will have some members on our various plats getting ready to bust some heads online with RBSV2. The sky is the limit, we just need motivation and the right people in place to make this work.

UPDATE: It seems like many members are picking this game up, so stay tuned for detailed information regarding our RBSV2 plans for the clan.  Individuals who may not be members of ID_ are encouraged to apply now using the application link found on this blog or in our boards.

In response to some requests that I’ve seen on the boards and in my private messages, I’m going to request all members to update their profile information. This means, IF you’ve changed your ingame names, updated an AIM/Yahoo!/Skype etc, changed your phone number, or moved, you should update your info. Our boards are profiles have “private” fields that ONLY members that are off of probation can see. You will NOT have your personal data exposed to the web spiders/public that peruse our boards.

I will use this information to grant MOTM awards in the future AS WELL AS update the ID_ Contact List. So if you can, take the time over the next few days to get this “homework” assignment under wraps ID_. Late turn-ins will get a 10pt. deduction each day after Sunday March 23, 2008 @ 11:59 PM EST. I will be running an updated contact report the following day (Monday March 24, 2008).

ID_ will be nominating a January 2008 and February 2008 Member of the Month in the coming days. Members who are off of probation are eligible to receive the ID_ MOTM award. Nominees will receive a gift certificate as well as be honored on the main website for all visitors to see why you are an important asset to ID_.

Spring training is nearing completion and the season is rapidly approaching. ID_Fantasy Baseball is once again ready to begin its season. Greetings everyone, its Nova aka “ID_ILLUMINOVA”. Some of you might remember me from waaaayyyy back when I used to play video games with you all. For those that aren’t familiar with who I am, ask a friend. I’m sure there may be a few members out there that remember me.

On with the news, today we officially launched our “blog”. This is in its “beta” phase just to see how it ends up working out for us as a whole. The idea behind the “ID_Blog” is to get the important information to the clan in a very streamlined process. I wanted to get more interactivity and better data flow on our website that this could fit the bill. This blog will not replace our forums, infact I hope that it actually increases our forum activity. This blog will eventually send members to our boards to discuss topics in more detail.

Currently the “look” of the blog is well… blaaaahhg (waits for laughter to subside… crickets) BUT I hope to be improving that as I find out more about how this system (wordpress) works. So bare with me as I try to get everything in order.
