ID_Raffi has certainly been a strong and dedicated member to the clan since his arrival back in 2006. As some of you know, Raffi is also a film maker up in the Big Apple of NYC. There has been a mystique surrounding our MOTM award that seems to negate the award itself. Starting today the Member of the Month award is officially dead.
Starting at the end of August, ID_ will be introducing a new “member highlight” award. This award will be disclosed at the end of the month. Details and information surrounding how members can earn this award will also be given at that time.
For those members previously mentioned as MOTM award winners, please submit (or in some cases re-submit) the following information to me by August 31, 2008:

ID_ is pleased to announce the appointment of a new leader within the clan. It has been quite some time since we’ve appointed a leader, and now is as good of a time as any. The clan is undergoing a few changes and our member base is expanding. This expansion places more demand on the clan as a whole. With this new appointment, ID_ will yet again reinforce the already strong foundation as we move toward another gaming season.
Scrotar joined ID_ in our first PS3 game venture (Resistance Fall of Man). Scrotar has been with ID_ for well over a year and a half and not only has he displayed his passion for gaming, BUT he has expressed his interest in the “health” and “well-being” of the clan. His balanced approach to every situation and his overall dedication makes me proud to welcome him into the leadership role.
With his fun/realistic approach to the clan, I’m excited and enthusiastic to see what Scrotar brings to ID_. Welcome to leadership and thank you for your dedication to ID_.
Similar to our in depth clan conversations in Canton, MD, This Monday ID_ will host another clan conference. YOU BET YOUR SWEET ASS WE WILL!
As requested (promised) ID_ will be hosting another SKYPE conference call this week. I can’t promise that the MP3 recording will turn out however I will be attempting it once again.
On Monday July 21, 2008 @ 9pm EST on Skype (click the link to get a free copy). For those that cannot use a headset, but do have speakers, comments/questions will be accepted in written format. Add the username: ID_CLAN to your Skype contacts. Whomever adds this name to their contacts will be invited to conversation.
This weeks conference will drill down on the action steps needed to make this clan successful/fun for all involved once again. If you cannot make this conference BUT wish to give input/feedback, please do so in the designated thread (after the conference, I will link the thread here).
For those that cannot make it, BUT have ideas and do not take the time to express them, please do not come to me and say we aren’t trying. This is your opportunity to communicate to not only the leaders but the clan as a whole. Failure to participate falls on the members that choose that route.

Its been a few weeks since this years get together, and images/video are officially making their way to web. There may be a few more pics out there that you wish to upload. So I’ve enabled the “gallery” for you to add your own albums to the ID_Fest 2008 Category.

Last night we hosted a clan conference via Skype. The conference was a major success in my mind, renewing interest as well as the ability of the clan to continue to grow (as we’ve become accustomed too). We had around 15 members show up for the conference. I appreciate those that could make it.
For those that want to review, or were having difficulty making the conference a summary has been posted.
As of today the calendar has been “re-implemented” and is now successfully feeding to the blog. See the “ID_Events” on the right side of the page.
A series of new contact sheets have been added to the boards today. We will be fine tuning the sheet to reflect our most active roster.
By this weekend, an outline of “action steps” will be posted for members to view.
As mentioned earlier, there will be a clan conference tomorrow night. For tomorrow nights conference, the topics of discussion will be as follows:
